A woman has been airlifted to hospital after a road traffic collision near Newquay.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following the incident on the A392 at White Acres. Emergency services were called at around 9.50am today (Wednesday 26 November) to reports of a collision involving a red Ford Fiesta and a yellow JCB tractor.
A local woman in her 80s was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries.
Officers say the road reopened at 2.15pm after collision investigators examined the scene and the vehicle was recovered. Members of the Roads Policing Team are asking any witnesses, or anyone with dash-cam footage, to contact police on 101 or via the Devon and Cornwall Police website, quoting reference 50250303279.
