A Newquay not-for-profit project that upcycles clothing and supports parents is in a race against time to find a new home.
The Clothes Horse, which provides donated clothes - including school uniforms - in exchange for contributions, has been given notice to leave its current premises on Seymour Avenue. It is understood that the landlord is putting the building up for sale.
Founder Chantal Shears, who started the organisation in her attic, is now appealing for a new base in Newquay. The CIC is looking for somewhere with access for pushchairs and buggies in a fairly central location in the town.
