A man has suffered a serious arm injury following a collision near Newquay.
Emergency services were called to the Cubert Crossroads area of the A3075 at around 2.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday (6 April), after a collision involving a car and a van.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the car overturned and came to rest on its roof.
A spokesperson said one man became trapped inside the vehicle and had to be freed by emergency crews.
He was taken to hospital with a serious arm injury.
Ambulance and fire crews also attended the scene, with the road closed while the incident was dealt with.
The vehicles were recovered by around 4.15pm, with the incident causing significant tailbacks during the busy bank holiday period.
