England name junior squad for European surfing championships

England has named its junior surfing squad for the 2026 ESF EuroSurf Junior Championships in Ireland.

The competition will be held in Bundoran from 24 September to 4 October, marking the first time the event has taken place in Ireland.

The dryrobe Team England Juniors squad includes former European junior champion Lukas Skinner and WSL Pro Junior winner Imari Hearn.

They will be joined by current Caravan and Motorhome Club English National champions Willow Smith, Heath Gillespie, Lila Skinner and Cairo Garcia-Plartus.

Current Rip Curl GromSearch champions Betsie Reay and Cassius Woudberg will make their first appearances for Team England.

England will also compete in the longboard categories, with Reggie Roynon and Sylvie Puddiphatt selected for the under-18 boys’ and girls’ events respectively.

Surfing England said the team would look to build on the country’s previous success in the European competition.
